Spring Inspiration

It doesn't quite feel like spring in Chicago yet, but I can't stop pinning spring things left and right.

1.Pink Top I love the design on this, and how easy would it be to take a seam ripper to any plain loose shirt and add a sash like that. I'll keep my eyes peeled at the thrift.

2. Balenciaga Peplum Don't even click the link...it's A THOUSAND DOLLARS folks, I'm just hoping this shape inspires tons and tons of affordable knock offs.

3. Necklace I have no idea where this is from (other than some tumbler) but I think with pliers, jump rings, chains and some good beads you and your ladies could come up with some sweet DIY necklaces inspired by this lil gem.

4. I bought these D'orsay flats over the weekend, when I say bought, I really mean I went to 4 targets to find them in my size like a lunatic...there not even real leather people...BUT the shape and fit were perfect, and they make my tiny feet look bigger which is a plus.

5. These sunnies are already sold out, but similar ones are at Forever 21 right now, I picked up some in black.

Fall Favs

Just ordered this jacket from H&M, between this and my zara thrift score#1 and #2 I'm more than set on outerwear.  This summer was all about fancy necklaces, dang the ones at J Crew were way too $$$ so I'm glad to see that Zara has some more affordable ones out.  Last Winter I got a bottle of Tokyo Dark-Arsenic, with notes like Sea Salt, Vanilla Bean, Cut Greens, Cardamom, Crushed Fennel, Woods, Tonka, and Absinthe, it feels totally fall to me.  I've never bought anything at Madewell before, so maybe this lil gold ring will be the first? Black D'orsay flats from Zara...nothing super fall ish about these, I jut want them
and finally you can't do fall with out moccasins, these are Minnetonka and I just figured out that I can fit into a child's size 4 (kids sz 4 = ladies sz 6) so moccasins just got a whole lot cheaper y'all

Hats

Hats don't always look that great one me since my head is really small, but I've been noticing more and more super sweet hats on pinterest as of late. I think a small brim is probably best, I actually found something like the above right gray one at an antique mall but it was too small...crazy maybe it was child sized.

Laura Plates

So most of our crappy target square plates are chipping, and I've been peeking at tj max, homegoods, anthro, and west elm for replacements.  I wish these Laura Zindel Thanksgiving plates were dinner sized and not dessert. These are awesome enough to use all the time.

candle light

 I love the simple design of these candles, I think I may try to DIY some for Christmas presents this year. Maybe frankincense, clove, peppermint, eucalyptus, pine...what else?

Cashhhhhhmere

Last week I stopped at the Restoration Hardware outlet and snuggled some of their cashmere throws and pillows. Holy Shit they are soft. Then I went home and snuggled my DIY pillows hmmm they are cute...and I do love them, but ugh not soft at all... not like cashmere. So I think a new DIY is in order, I'm going to scour some thrift stores for cashmere sweaters to turn into little pillows with some pom pom action.
