A Tale of Two Dresses

I had initially pinned the Temperly dress awhile back, I loveeee this sillouette, seems like something my grandmother would have worn (in a good way) and that half way between kelly green and emerald hue is just lovely.  I had always though it would be a simple dress to make and just add the trim after, but now I don't even have to do that since I found the almost identical purple version at the thrift this past weekend for $14.  I'll admit I love the green much much more than purple, but as of late purple has been growing on me.
I just need to find some fancy gold trim, or even costume jewelry to dress its purple doppelganger up with and voila just saved myself $2,986
