craft fail

I pinned this awhile back, and thought this would be the easiest DIY ever! Just get a little sweatshirt, and some iron on letters, totally easy, and should take 2 minutes.  However in the end I burned myself, the letters would not peel off, and I burned the shirt, a big giant iron shaped burn right in the middle....

and the letters would still not peel off. what the....

I'm going to try to do stencil letters on fabric-that might work!
