Cabin Re-do

In June Mr W and I are headed up to tackle a major project (installing a slat wood ceiling.) and maybe ripping up some carpet in the bedrooms? It's been hard because every time you make the 5 hr drive up there, you just want to hang at the beach, go antiquing  (seriously it's a gold mine up there) or just relax in general, and NOT working on the cabin (and especially not replacing the shingles in 90 degree weather, but that's another story).

So wish us luck, the new ceiling should look something like the one on the left.

my dad has already been up ripping the old vaulted
(probably asbestos)ceiling down.
